We are so pleased that we have retained our ‘Michelin Bib Gourmand’ for the tenth year this week – yes 10 years!
With just 127 Bib Gourmands in the whole of the UK & Ireland it really is such an achievement for Jethro our head Chef and his team to maintain their efforts each year.
Jethro, our super-star Head Chef, Pam his fabulous Sous & the team work tirelessly throughout the year to ensure we maintain our standards and continue to offer fantastic dishes and satisfaction for our guests. It is such a fantastic effort by the kitchen Team, I am so proud & pleased for them all.
Jethro was actually in the kitchen team when we won the Bib for the first time 10 years ago and has been with us every year since.
What is a Bib Gourmand you may ask, well here is a brief description below –
Not quite a star, the ‘Bib Gourmand’ – named after Bibendum, the friendly Michelin Man and the official company mascot for the Michelin Group – is an esteemed rating from the Michelin Guide that recognises friendly establishments that serve great food at moderate prices.
To celebrate our 10 years with a Bib Gourmand we are changing our Set Lunch price to reflect the price when we were first awarded the Bib 10 years ago.
Our celebratory price will be £15 for 2 courses and £19 for 3 for the remainder of February and up to & including Friday 8th March.
We will also have some fabulous French Bistro-style wines by the glass on offer so you can help us celebrate.
